Lead Time
Lead time, we aslo called production turnaround time, which is the period between start and completion of a process. The production turnaround time allow us to do printing, cutting, binding, finishing, quality check and packaging. Our production turnaround time can range from couple of days to 20 days, depend on your order quantity, binding, special finish requirement, ect.
Production Lead Time of Different Print Product
For different printing projects, the production time is usually different. At BookPrintingChina, books/catalogs/notebooks, etc, types of printing usually need 10-18 days; various card and card deck printing usually needs 10-15 days, and other printing usually needs 15-18 days. Here are listed some main projects of production time we print for your reference.
For saddle stitch book printing, it usually takes 10-12 days;
For paperback book printing, usually takes 12-15 days;
For hardcover books printing, usually take 15-18 days;
For spiral/wire-o book printing, usually takes 15-18 days;
For board book printing, usually takes 15-18 days;
For custom card/card deck, usually takes 10-15 days;
For custom package bag/box, usually takes 15-18 days;
For label/sticker printing, usually takes 7-9 days;
For calendar printing, usually takes 18 days.
The final production time depends on your quantity and your project’s requirements.
When does the Production Lead Time Start?
Once you’ve paid the 50% deposit and provided the final print-ready files, we will check your artwork.
If the files meet our printing requirements, we will create a free digital sample for your approval.
If any errors are found, we’ll let you know so you can correct them and resend the updated files.
After the sample is ready, we will send photos or videos for your review, or ship the physical sample to you. Production will begin once you confirm the sample.
Are there any fees for rush orders?
If your order is urgent, please let us know your exact schedule, such as when you will provide the final artwork and the date you need the products delivered. Our sales team will check with our production manager and shipping partners to confirm whether we can meet your timeline. If we can meet your deadline, we will accept your order. If not, we will let you know upfront so you won’t face any delays.
Once we accept your order, we guarantee on-time delivery. Our factory will adjust the production schedule and work day and night if needed, at no extra cost to you.
If your order is large and sea shipping can not arrive in time, we recommend splitting the shipment: ship a small quantity by air first, and ship the remaining bulk by sea. This ensures you receive part of your order on time while still saving on shipping costs.
